Who is this for?

Grade 5-9 CTF teachers who are seeking to:

  • Develop their skill in designing experience-based challenges that support student learning and build competencies
  • Take risks throughout the prototyping process
  • Engage with community innovators and program facilitators

Participants can expect to gain a dynamic understanding of:

  • How to utilize rapid prototyping to maximize the rate of student learning by creating a culture that is biased towards action
  • Approaches to task design centered around real world problems and challenges
  • How to activate community members to promote student exploration of career interests, passions, and skills

  • Opportunities to connect students with community mentors
  • On-going support from Learning Specialists throughout the year to apply rapid prototyping and community resources to your task design
  • Making learning visible through a final celebration event
  • Providing feedback through teacher and student surveys/documentation throughout the learning process
