Eiden is a software engineering student looking to specialize in machine learning. In the past, he also studied mechanical engineering and mechatronics. He has always been interested in robotics, and works on various electronics and Arduino projects in his spare time. He signed up as a geekStarter mentor in the hopes of fostering the same desire to work in STEM in younger students.
“I joined geekStarter after I saw some teams that were looking for mentors. I was drawn to the plastic sorting robot as it can potentially use newer techniques such as machine learning and computer vision. It is nice to see school students looking to tackle a problem that can benefit our entire society as a whole, and I am happy to help them out”
